A few simple choices. Skip anything you’re not sure about.

How the picker works

Your choices are requirements. Matches have confirmed data for every requirement. Unknown never counts as a match. You can remove requirements or make them preferences from the results; nothing changes automatically.

Matches are ordered by preferences met, then device name. There is no quality score, and affiliate links never affect results. With no choices, all catalog devices appear, including discontinued devices.

Meshtastic® and MeshCore™ use separate networks that don’t communicate with one another. Meshtastic counts both officially and community supported devices; MeshCore requires confirmed hardware support. Both firmware means confirmed support for each stack, used separately. GPS and dedicated solar input must ship built in. Waterproof means an IP water-protection digit of 7 or 8 (immersion); an IPX9 jet rating alone does not establish immersion protection. Community products here are noncommercial designs; DIY here means development boards, as distinct from the catalog’s DIY lifecycle label.

Region choices use the site’s existing hardware band groups, based on Meshtastic’s region definitions. A listed hardware range must contain the group’s centre frequency, or a single listed frequency must fall within the group. Unreadable band data stays unknown. Firmware region settings and national limits still need checking.

Meshtastic® and its logo are trademarks of Meshtastic LLC. MeshCore™ identifies the MeshCore project. Meshware is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by either project.
