Notes
Compared with MeshTower V1, MeshTower V2H adds:
- A redesigned BMS baseboard replacing the MeshSolar mainboard, allowing restart/recovery without opening the enclosure.[8][9]
- High-temperature lithium batteries.[9]
- A choice of GPS-equipped or GPS-free configurations.[9]
- Higher rated radio output: 28 ±1 dBm, compared with V1’s 21 ±1 dBm.[8][3]
The selected 902–928 MHz variant includes GNSS. Heltec’s store labels the high-power option 30 dBm; its current V2H guide rates it at 28 ±1 dBm, so the comparison uses 28 dBm.[5][3]
Like V1, the unit has a 10 W solar panel and three 2,800 mAh cells.[8][3] Solar/DC input is 18–24 V, with USB-C PD3.0 (20 V) also supported.[3][2]
